1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Vantage websites, accounts, subscription experiences, and AI-assisted equity research features. It does not govern third-party sites or services you access separately.
2. Information processed
Information you provide
- Account details such as name, email address, and a locally derived password value in this demo version.
- Ticker symbols, research criteria, watchlists, questions, settings, and other prompts.
- API keys you choose to connect for AI and market-data providers.
- Plan choices, billing contact details, and support communications when paid services are activated.
Information generated or received automatically
- Research outputs, saved history, plan status, and product preferences.
- Basic technical and security data that hosting, payment, or infrastructure providers may process when those services are enabled.
3. Browser-local storage
In the supplied version, demo account records, session state, API keys, watchlists, research history, and preferences are stored in your browser using local storage. This data is not a secure cloud backup and may be readable by people or software with access to your browser profile. Clearing site data may permanently erase it. Do not use shared devices for sensitive information.
4. External AI and market-data requests
When you use connected features, your browser sends requests directly to the provider selected in Settings. AI requests can include tickers, criteria, market data, questions, and relevant prior output. Market-data requests can include ticker symbols and your provider key. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Do not submit confidential personal information in research prompts.
5. How information is used
- Provide, personalize, maintain, and secure the service.
- Generate requested research, quotes, forecasts, and answers.
- Remember account state, settings, watchlists, and history.
- Administer trials, subscriptions, billing, and support once activated.
- Detect abuse, comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect rights.
- Improve the service using aggregated or de-identified information where appropriate.
6. When information is disclosed
Information may be disclosed to vendors that provide AI, market data, payments, hosting, security, communications, or support; when you direct us to do so; during a corporate transaction; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law and protect users, the service, or others. Vantage does not sell personal information in the supplied version and does not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Revise this statement before launch if practices change.
7. Retention and security
Browser-local information remains until you clear it, use product deletion controls, or the browser removes it. Hosted billing and transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and law. Reasonable safeguards can reduce risk but no system is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You may clear local data through browser controls, remove connected API keys in Settings, export or restore the available local backup, and cancel a subscription online. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about disclosures, and to appeal or complain to a regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
9. Children
Vantage is not directed to children, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable digital-consent age. If you believe a child provided information, contact support through the product.
10. International use
If the service is operated or hosted in a country different from yours, information may be processed there. Before launch, identify the operator and hosting locations and add any legally required transfer mechanism or regional disclosure.
11. Changes and contact
Material changes will be communicated as required, and the effective date will be revised. Privacy questions and rights requests may be submitted through the in-product support channel. Before launch, add the controller’s legal identity, physical address, privacy email, and any required data-protection representative.
